Delayed opening (edited)

* Please note our subsequent post which updates our opening to Monday, 11 December 2017.

In the interest of selling you top quality fruit, we have decided to postpone opening to 8am *Saturday, 16th December. Rain and stormy conditions have delayed most varieties, but we continue to sample the cherries regularly to ensure you will get the same high quality produce you've come to know us for.

On the note of 'sampling cherries' - unfortunately we have seen an increasing number of pickers who take advantage of our 'no entry fee' policy, visiting with a clear intention to taste but not purchase. We welcome connoisseurs to taste a few varieties before committing to picking and purchasing a larger quantity, however we are not an all-you-can-eat orchard. We ask that pickers respect our hard work by paying for what you pick and sampling our produce within reason. If you are not sure what we class as reasonable, please ask us one of our friendly attendants before you start picking.

Thank you to the vast majority of customers who do the right thing!

Regards
Cheryl and Ron

Soggy start

Rain continues to hamper any picking this week and we strongly encourage you to call us for updates (08 8389 8574). The forecast predicts the rain to continue for the remainder of this week, but hopefully we'll get a break on the weekend.

The Chelan variety will be ripe in the next few days and the Stella variety in 10-13 days. Check out our Varieties page for information about all our cherries on offer.

Thank you again for your patience with the weather and our online updates this week.

Regards
Cheryl and Ron
