'Merchant' variety only a few weeks away

The blossom has finished and we are beginning to see what the cherry crop will be like. It looks as if it will be an average year, with some varieties better than others.  Stella (the big black ones) look to have a reasonable amount on them.  We are planning to open in the last week or two of November when our first variety 'Merchant' will be ready for picking.

Stay tuned for further details!

The 2014 season has arrived

Welcome back to another cherry season in picturesque Lenswood.

We are now at the end of blossom and the majority of varieties appear to be stronger than last year. The bees have been out and working hard, so hopefully the trees have recovered and will give a good crop.  It will be another few weeks before we can gauge the crop more accurately, but we hope to see you all happily picking some of the early varieties in about 6 weeks.  Keep checking back here for updates!

Don't forget to browse our website to prepare for your visit, including how to locate our orchard, what varieties we have to offer, and links to other great websites offering useful information about cherries and the Adelaide Hills region.

Kind regards
Ron and Cheryl
